Built by an Attorney Who Gets It

Ashley M. Cornwell, Esq. is a Florida attorney and the founder of AC Legal Consulting. She began her legal career working alongside criminal defense and appellate attorneys in California, contributing to legal research, case analysis, and prison resentencing reform, before earning her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad School of Law in 2024. While attending law school, Ashley garnered experience working in boutique law firms focusing on civil litigation, tax, real estate, business, and immigration law.

Admitted to the Florida Bar in April 2025, Ashley founded AC Legal Consulting to give solo and small firm attorneys acess to the kind of sohpisticated support that was once only available to large firms delivered with honesty, discretion, and a genuine investment in your client's outcome.

Her belief is simple: strong cases are built through careful preparation, clear reasoning, and strategic thinking.

Because when the gavel drops, the outcome should never be a surprise.

Common Questions

What Attorneys Ask Before Working With Us

How is confidentiality handled?

We operate with strict discretion at every stage. We act as a professional extension of your own law office, maintaining the highest ethical standards regarding work-product privilege and client confidentiality.

What is the typical turnaround time?

We prioritize your litigation schedule. While most projects are booked 1-2 weeks out, we maintain flexibility for urgent research requests and trial-deadline motion support when your capacity is stretched.

How are your services billed?

We offer transparent and predictable pricing models, including flat-fee rates per project, standard hourly rates for ongoing research, or monthly retainer options for solo practice advisory relationships.

Do you only work with Florida attorneys?

No. While Ashley is a member of the Florida Bar, our strategic consulting, research, and non-representational drafting services are available to solo practitioners and small firms in all 50 states.

Which practice areas do you cover?

We specialize in sophisticated civil litigation support, including appellate brief strategy, business disputes, and real estate litigation—bringing high-level reasoning to complex matters regardless of practice niche.

What is the first step to working together?

The process starts with a free strategy call. We will discuss your specific case needs or firm goals, define a clear scope of support, and provide a formal proposal before any work begins.
